Multiple rooms across several floors, each with its own character. Whether you need an elegant dining room, a ceremony space with real presence, or a bar with a dancefloor, we will configure the venue to suit your event.
The Rooms
The Hall has four main spaces that can be used independently or together. Most events use two or three rooms through the course of the day or evening, with guests moving naturally between them. Lift access connects all floors.

First Floor
The largest dining space in the Hall. A grand room with high ceilings and period features, used for wedding breakfasts, celebration dinners, Christmas parties and conference-style events. Tables can be arranged for formal seated dining or more flexible layouts.
Ground Floor
A more intimate dining room on the ground floor, ideal for smaller gatherings where you still want a proper sit-down setting. Often used for wake receptions, family celebrations and private dinners. Step-free access from the main entrance.

First Floor
The most distinctive room in the building. Wood-panelled walls, leaded windows and the kind of presence that makes an impression the moment you walk in. Licensed by Bolton Council for civil ceremonies, it is also used for conferences, presentations and formal events where the setting matters.
Ground Floor
The social heart of the venue. A fully licensed bar with a permanent dancefloor, installed during the 2020 refurbishment. Where guests end up for evening celebrations, birthday parties, and the after-dinner part of any event. Bring your own DJ, band or plug in a playlist.

How Events Typically Flow
Most events use the building in stages, moving between rooms as the day or evening progresses. Here is how it typically works.
