A Victorian hall, purpose-built in 1887. Comprehensively modernised in 2020. Now one of Bolton’s most distinctive settings for weddings, celebrations and private events. Unique, memorable and affordable.
About

Bolton Masonic Hall was purpose-built on Institute Street to give Bolton’s Freemasons an established home in the centre of town. Before then, they met in assembly rooms, church halls and public houses.
The building was extended in 1928 to accommodate more lodges, and in 2020 underwent a comprehensive refurbishment: a modern bar installed, full wifi coverage throughout, and the club and bar areas completely redesigned. In 2022, a dedicated Events Team was established to open the Hall to weddings, parties, corporate events and the wider community.
